The genus Lonchopteris Brongniart in the Dobrudzha Carboniferous Basin, Bulgaria

Abstract: 

Eight Lonchopteris species have been identified in the Dobrudzha Coalfield, and namely: L. baurii, L. conjugata, L. eschweileriana, L. karvinense, L. rugosa, L. silesiaca, L. elegans n. sp and L. sp. Most abundant here are L. silesiaca, L. elegans and L. eschweileriana. The Dobrudzha Basin was formed at an altitude of more than 190 meters above sea level.

Янаки Тенчов. Род Lonchopteris Brongniart в Добруджанском карбонском каменноугольном бассейне. В Добруджанском карбонском каменноугольном бассейне установлено восемь видов, принадлежащих к роду Lonchopteris: L. baurii, L. conjugata, L. eschweileriana, L. karvinense, L. rugosa, L. silesiaca, L. elegans n. sp и L. sp. Чаще всего встречаются L. silesiaca, L. elegans и L. Eschweileriana. Отложения Добруджанского бассейна накоплялись на территории, которая находилась висше 190 метров над уровнем моря.
