Taxonomic al notes on the genus Pandorinellina Muller & Muler, 1957 and the steinhornensis group

The present revision of this genus and the appurtenance of group steinhornensis to Pandorinellina Muller & Muller, 1957 has been made on the basis of comparison in the morphology between two genera Pandorinellina Muller & Muller, 1957 and Spathognathodus Branson & Mehl, 1941. The underlined differences serve as a basis to separate the two genera and to revise their volume. According to this research the group steinhornensis which contains taxa with big basal extensions is assigned to the genus Pandorinellina Muller & Muller, 1957.

Ревизия рода и принадлежащей ему группы steinhornensis сделана на основании морфологического сравнения между родами Pandorinellina Muller & Muller, 1957 и Spathognathodus Branson & Mehl, 1941. Отчетливые морфологеческие различия этих родов использованы для ревизии их объема. В результате исследования группа steinhornensis, содержащая таксоны с большими базальными расширением, отнесена к роду Pandorinellina Muller & Muller, 1957.
